What Was the Client's Need?

NTT Data in Plano was to have 9 copiers installed at their headquarters. Datamax Texas Production Supervisor Daniel Ketchum was sent out on the call, unaware of what would be presented to him when he arrived. 

What Made Them a Raving Fan?

On this particular installation, nine copiers were to be installed on five floors. It was the middle of the summer, and the AC had gone out in the building. Additionally, the freight elevator had broken and technician Daniel Ketchum had to wait patiently, in 100+ degree heat, for another service elevator with approximately 15 minutes of waiting time per copier.

Daniel never said anything about this to his supervisor. It wasn’t until recently, when Director Service Steve Kennemer and VP of Sales Clay Mills were at NTT Data for a partner review that this information was revealed.

“Instead of rescheduling, Daniel knew the customer wanted to get up and going. So he just took care of it,” Kennemer said.
