Datamax Arkansas is proud to once again welcome the Patriot Pack on their ride to Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in DC, representing The Jillian Fund.
“Arriving at Datamax is always a special occasion. Barry’s team is out in the rain introducing themselves, shaking hands, being inquisitive about the bikes and the journey. After some wonderful fellowship Barry led us into a large demo/meeting room for the presentation of a charitable donation. Datamax, your team is wonderful and we thank you on behalf of the Jillian fund and Patriots Pack.” – The Jillian Fund blog, May 22
The Patriot Pack, led by Mike “Paco” Stramaglio, arrived at Datamax in Little Rock around 9 a.m. on a very rainy Monday morning last month. The group represented the Jillian Fund as part of their 10-day journey to DC and the Vietnam Memorial Wall. The 11 riders were treated to a breakfast, a facility tour and a warm social gathering with the Little Rock team. Datamax also offered $1,000 donation to the Jillian Fund.
The Jillian Fund is a nonprofit organization that provides financial support to families during a time of crisis to allow family members to better focus on supporting their sick child. Each day, thousands of critically ill children face long hospital stays without a parent by their side because the parent is financially unable to leave work. The Jillian Fund is dedicated to uniting families in need during their most critical times and providing academic, financial support to young women who demonstrate Jillian’s legacy of living by example and conquering fear with faith.
Finally, the group was also able to reunite with Datamax employee Barb Noll, who two years ago asked “Paco” to carry the motorcycle vest of her late husband and Vietnam Veteran with him to the Memorial Wall and place it there. He, of course, was honored to do so.
