One particular “note” shared by colleague Kristina Prichard after last month’s Rave Review release struck a chord with us.
After reading Tyler Delivery Driver Jerry Ford's Little Blue Book Story, she sent him an email. The email simply thanked him for everything that he did for the organization, and it left quite an impression on Jerry, and represented the positive culture we strive for here at Datamax.
The gesture also reminded us that even the simplest expression of appreciation for what our coworkers do makes a tangible difference. With that in mind, we ask YOU: Share with us someone in your Datamax professional circle who sees things in a positive light and exudes the type of optimism that positively affects the workplace. Here are your responses...

Ginna Hill……..Datamax Little Rock Receptionist. Ginna greets me with a smile and a nice word every morning when I walk in. Upon returning from sales calls, she always says “welcome back!”
It’s the little things that make a difference each day. As tough as sales can sometimes be, it’s always pleasant to walk back in the office to a smile and nice greeting.
Ginna is uniquely positive!

East Texas Area Manager, Josh Sims. He has an education/coaching background, so he always has some sort of positive saying, speech, and/or video in his back pocket. I would say he carries the positivity on the sales side of the building. He is always there when you need a good pep talk too!
Cheri Rezek
Saint Louis Office
I think Judy Wood, our receptionist at Datamax Corporate in St. Louis, is a uniquely positive professional. She always has a smile on her face and is so sweet to everyone in the office. My mood can change just by walking by her desk and having a short conversation with her.
Justin Huffaker
Dallas/Fort Worth Office
Barry Simon is super positive. If you go to the Arkansas office in the morning, you will find him walking around the building personally greeting employees and asking them how they are doing. He's not an executive behind closed doors. He's out shaking hands and speaking to employees there every single day.
I think that Faith Oliver is a very positive person. She's just ready for good things to happen. She has a very positive disposition and you can feel that in meetings in the way she conducts herself, the ways she is courteous and respectful of others.
Gina Smith is very conscious of putting positive energy out there to other people. People are drawn to it. She is quick to compliment and very careful in her criticism, which speaks to a very mature management process.
Jennifer Edens, who runs the support desk, is someone who works on positive energy. We always tell people when you are talking to someone on the phone, they can feel your demeanor through the phone. Jennifer actually puts mirrors in the cubicles, to ensure that that smile comes through the telephone on the other end.
Patsy Guess? Clients just rave about her. She is a very warm individual and clients respond to that. There's an element to her personality, she has the gift of laughter. She can have people laughing and enjoying her company, even if it's just over the phone. We hear it all the time, "Thank Goodness for Patsy!"
Josh McConnell is someone who is like the class clown. He likes to crack jokes, he likes it when people are laughing, He's in a lot of meetings with me, and is usually someone who is the one lightening things up.
Elliot Easterly
Little Rock Office
Ken Allison is very optimistic and helps our team stay motivated by finding the positive in tough situations. It is very easy to feed off of Ken's energy and lighten the mood.

The someone in our Datamax professional circle who is uniquely positive would be Justin Harper. Justin always has an upbeat vibe, cheerful attitude, and endless enthusiasm, no matter what.
Whether it's tackling a tough project or just hanging out, his presence makes a difference, you’ll definitely know when he’s not in the office. There hasn’t been a time that I’ve been by his office or in passing he wasn’t in a good mood, asking how you are, and what you cook over the weekend, or what’s for lunch. Justin is definitely a go getter, a hard worker, and one who will roll up his sleeves and help out.
These are just a few ways Justin affects the workplace and contributes to a great company culture.

Honestly, everybody I work with here does. In particular, Robert O' Gorman, even from his first day as manager helping me out, positivity was one of the biggest keys that he was harping to me. Even over the phone, smile, and go in with a positive attitude. Customers appreciate that.
If Robert sees me not smiling or hears my tone of voice over the phone, he'll nudge me and say "Stay Positive!"
Renee Golas
Little Rock Office
Kim Clark is the most welcoming and positive person that I deal with on a regular basis. In all situations, she exemplifies kindness and a positive attitude when helping me with orders and inputting all of the details necessary to generate a docusign in agent dealer. I am grateful to have someone like her to work with!!
Roy Faries
Dallas/Fort Worth Office
It has to be Rachel Rhodes for sure. I work five or six feet away from her. No matter what she's asked to do or questions people ask her, she's always cheerful and willing to help.
Josh Sims
Tyler Office
I honestly think we have quite a few in the Tyler Office. I think Jeff Walker, Justin Harper, and Summar Sinclair.
Jeff is always looking at everything from a positive angle and putting everyone in the best light possible. He even makes me sound good in those articles he writes.
Justin helps keep the flow of things positive. He keeps the energy up in the building and keeps all aspects moving in the right direction
Summar’s laugh alone keeps everyone in a good mood. If you have a bad day with her cackle in the background, then that’s on you! LOL
