Delivering More Solutions.

Datamax has extended its Kyocera partnership to include Texas, and also
introduced a new solution in our Arkansas marketplace: the eGold Fax cloud-based facsimile solution. Let’s discuss these strategic alliances.

Delivering relevant solutions often means expanding our partner alliances.

In the spirit of being holistic in our approach to delivering business technology solutions, Datamax is always looking for new ways to remain relevant. That’s why in both Texas and Arkansas, we continue to expand our strategic partnerships.

Our Texas branch recently announced its partnership with Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc. This extended partnership (Datamax is currently aligned with Kyocera in its Arkansas marketplaces)  further bolsters Datamax’s ability to abide by its tagline, “Relevant Technology. Raving Results.®”

“Our whole approach as a business technology provider is to act as consultants, and we felt that we needed to deliver a second option for our customers,” Datamax Texas President David Rhodes said. “Kyocera is a major player in the office industry, and we believe this is another great offering for Datamax customers.”

Kyocera’s portfolio includes reliable and eco-friendly MFPs and printers, as well as business applications and consultative services that enable customers to optimize and manage their document workflow, reaching new heights of efficiency.

"Kyocera knows at the end of every transaction, behind the doors of every business, are people. So, when we help our partners succeed and our customers problem-solve, what we are really doing is helping make peoples’ lives better," said Debbie Affolter, Area Sales Manager - Southwest Region, Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc. "We’re a people-centric organization with a commitment to excellence that above all, values integrity."

In a previous Datamax role, Mr. Rhodes said he had tremendous success with the Kyocera line. He says he looks forward to clients and potential customers getting the opportunity to see the line in person and discover ways that these devices can fit their environment and improve their workflow.

After celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2023, countless milestones over the years have shaped Kyocera’s journey. From transitioning from Mita Copystar America to Kyocera, strategic acquisitions like Databank, the development of sustainable products like the ECOSYS range, as well as its expertise in digital transformation, all give the manufacturer confidence to look to the future as a continued significant partner for businesses in the country.

"I'm truly excited about the strategic partnership between Datamax and Kyocera. The alignment of our core values is a crucial aspect that resonates deeply with me. It's more than just a collaboration; it's a testament to our shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction," Affolter said. "As we embark on this journey together, I'm confident that the synergy between our organizations will not only minimize downtime for our customers but also set a benchmark for excellence in the industry."

eGold Fax Raises the Bar With Cloud Capabilities.

In Arkansas, Datamax recently announced its partnership with eGoldFax, an enterprise Cloud Faxing solution that empowers traditional technology with the capabilities that come with the cloud. In a blog post prepared by eGold Fax, a few of the benefits of cloud faxing are outlined as such:

1. Improved Efficiency

One of the primary benefits of cloud-based faxing is the significant boost in efficiency it provides. Unlike traditional fax machines, which require physical documents to be printed, scanned, and faxed, cloud-based faxing allows you to send and receive faxes digitally. This eliminates the need for paper documents, reducing time-consuming manual tasks and streamlining communication.

2. Cost Reduction

Traditional fax machines come with ongoing expenses, including paper, toner, maintenance, and dedicated phone lines. Cloud-based faxing eliminates these costs by leveraging your existing internet connection. Additionally, you no longer need to invest in physical fax machines, reducing both capital and operational expenses.

3. Enhanced Security

Security is a top priority for businesses when it comes to document transmission. Traditional fax machines can be vulnerable to unauthorized access, as documents sit on paper trays for anyone to see. Cloud-based faxing employs advanced encryption and security measures to protect sensitive data during transmission and storage.

4. Scalability and Accessibility

Cloud-based faxing offers businesses the flexibility to scale their faxing needs up or down as required. Whether you're a small startup or a large enterprise, you can easily adjust your faxing capacity to match your business growth. Furthermore, cloud-based faxing allows employees to access faxes from anywhere with an internet connection, enhancing remote work capabilities.

At Datamax, our alliances are purposeful — Kyocera being no exception. Each serves to broaden the scope of our technology portfolio, enabling us to develop and deliver powerful, unbiased solutions that combat a wide array of business challenges. When we need to deliver more solutions... we do just that.
