There’s a good reason why more and more businesses are getting their head in the cloud. Their CRM is no exception.
According to Virtana, 80% of organizations are using multiple public or private clouds. Cybersecurity Ventures states that by 2025, there will be over 100 zettabytes of data stored in the cloud. To put this in perspective, a zettabyte is a billion terabytes (or a trillion gigabytes). But why?
Again, there are many reasons for this (scalability, flexibility, mobility, collaboration… we could go on). However, as it relates to Customer Relationship Management (CRM), let’s first recognize that this system is a centralized platform for sales and admin teams to manage customer interactions. It’s a tool that helps ensure no Raving Fan feels neglected. As we find ourselves in the midst of a migration to a Cloud-based CRM (AgentDealer), it goes without saying that to properly nurture your fan base, you need detailed client information fast, wherever you find yourself out in the field. The cloud enables that anywhere, anytime access.
So, what is Salesforce (AgentDealer)?
It’s a CRM solution built for office tech, utilizing the Salesforce platform, that helps organizations just like Datamax harness the power of the cloud. Salesforce states it is not an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. However, Salesforce offers many business solutions, which can be integrated to enhance and support your ERP but it does not provide an ERP product. So, what are some big benefits of this solution once the migration is completed? We’re glad you asked. To dig in, we reached out to our own CRM Administrator, Roy Faries.
6 Salesforce (AgentDealer) Benefits that Make Roy Faries a Raving Fan.
1. Integration with eAutomate.
Communication is everything. When two of our biggest platforms speak to one another, we all win. There are plenty of synchronizations on hand between eAutomate and AgentDealer like business info, equipment info, service calls, meter readings… a lot of data that sales reps could use for partnership reviews that they don’t necessarily have access to right now.
2. Mobile Capabilities.
As discussed above, AgentDealer is a cloud-based system that you can access from any mobile device… phone, iPad, laptop, etc. Roy says the mobile app for the phone is very comprehensive so that as you move from one appointment to another, you’ve got what you need at your fingertips.
3. Integration with SalesScorekeeper.
Regarding SalesScorekeeper, reps can keep up with their commissions on a live basis. It’s easier for admin, too, as they don’t have to enter any date into a separate program.
4. Integration with HubSpot.
With the HubSpot integration, any leads that come through our website (from HubSpot) are automatically brought into Agent Dealer as a “Deal” or opportunity. Also, sales personnel will have access to valuable intel on how prospects are interacting with our web and email content.
5. Customization/Configuration.
A note of clarification: According to Salesforce, “Configuration means adding information or modifying Salesforce to enable the stock software to work best for your business. Whereas customization refers to altering the source code of Salesforce so that it is tailored to particular needs.” AgentDealer is fully configurable AND customizable, depending on what you are trying to accomplish. This software is currently being configured to meet our specific business needs.
Additionally, with the training that Roy, Rachel Rhodes, and Allie DeHart have gone through, we have the ability to add fields, change the layout of fields, create customized listings and reports, etc. Bottom line? This software is and can continue to be molded to our ongoing needs.
6. User Intuitiveness.
As is the case with a lot of cloud-based solutions, it’s just easier to navigate. You can get the same information from many directions, without the headache of a clunky interface. As an example, the workflow from an opportunity to deal to proposal to documents is more streamlined than what we have currently, Roy says.
Stay tuned for further details as this migration moves forward. In the meantime, let this serve as one more example of how Datamax is Scaling Up in 2023!
