So what’s with this formula, Synergy + Energy = Synergetic? To put it into number form, consider it 1+1=3.

In other words, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. (Synergy).  Once we come together, work together, and promote communication to ascertain best practices, something funny happens that we may not even notice. A collective energy builds that propels us to unprecedented success (not to mention professional satisfaction).

Mathematics researcher Michael Angier defines synergy as the phenomenon of two or more people getting along and benefiting one another, i.e., the combination of energies, resources, talents, and efforts equal more than the sum of the parts. It is possible, he argues, to describe this phenomenon by the expression 1 + 1 = 3.

That’s being synergetic.  

Synergy across our Company = 3.
