The Client: Allen and Withrow Law Firm
The Account Representative: Amanda Fox
When Amanda Fox developed her business plan for 2020, she circled Allen and Withrow Law Firm as one of her major accounts. One reason? In 2016 they had gone with a competitor. Make no mistake: she desperately wanted this account.
She knew a few things about the law firm. She knew their current vendor. She knew when the lease would be coming up. Most importantly, Amanda knew she wanted to set up a meeting with a decision maker as soon as possible.
What she didn’t know? A pandemic would hit and send her plans into a long, spiraled delay. Solutions Success would have to wait for Amanda.
The Business Challenge
Amanda was eventually able to have a sit down with one of the major partners at the firm. The meeting was set for mid-March.
“And then COVID hit, and we had to cancel our meeting for several months,” Amanda said. “It was very disconcerting. But I felt like the door was left often. I thought, this is a delay, but this is eventually going to happen.”
When she finally did get to meet later in 2020, in that meeting, pain points came pouring out regarding their current vendor.
“They were not satisfied with the service. It wasn’t long before they were venting and unloading on us about their machines being down, and it often taking days before a technician even arrived.”
The Thought Process
On every visit with a prospect, Amanda carries with her the Site Seller, an Elite Dealer flyer, and the Datamax Service Response Quadrant.
“With that I can talk about how we are known for our fast service, and here’s the data to prove it. Especially when you’re working with law firms, who are all about the numbers, that’s something that really speaks to them,” Amanda said.
But for this meeting she brought something additional: A reference letter from another prominent Law Firm in Little Rock.
“I think that’s one of the things that really sent us over the top,” Amanda said. “When we have those recommendations from other similar companies saying ‘yes, we use Datamax,’ I just strongly believe that it creates credibility for our company.”
Once the proposal was delivered, it wasn’t long before Allen and Withrow Law Firm made the decision to go with Datamax.
The Prevailing Results
“I checked in with them recently, and the receptionist talked about how much they love their copiers and the efficiency they bring,” Amanda said. “In checking in, I feel like no news is good news.”
So what’s next? Amanda says she plans soon to get a reference letter from Allen and Withrow. Just further credibility fueled by another Raving Fan.
