DATAMAX LITTLE BLUE BOOK STORY - DIANE HENDRICKS

Diane Hendrick's Story

(Cash Receipts Clerk - Saint Louis Office) — As she said in her “New Employee Bio” back in 2022, Diane and her husband moved to Collinsville, Ill. (near St. Louis) from Oregon and were both excited to start a new chapter in their lives.

Three years later, they’ve found a great home – a place they can spend time with their many friends in the St. Louis area, and entertain their dog Lily. She’s found another place to call home, too, at Datamax.

What led me to Datamax?

Upon deciding to move back to the Midwest, Diane searched for a job similar to the one she’d had previously in Illinois . She found Datamax through an online job posting, and had a great feel for the place by the time the initial interview was over.

“When I went through my interview, I had a bunch of questions and my boss Sheryl (Scott) answered everyone of them. And then, she asked me a question: ‘What do you want in a boss?’ No one had ever asked me that before,” Diane recalls. “I told her that I wanted a boss to know exactly what I do on a day to day basis, and she’s fulfilled that ever since. She’s on top of everything and I love that very much about her.”

My experiences at Datamax:

Diane is deeply imbedded in the day-to-day financial aspects of Datamax, from processing checks and credit cards, posting checks with leasing, taking credit card calls, and returning checks to customers.

She also serves as a back up for the mail and does UPS package and filing out to the branches.

“I’m always busy, there is no time for breaks, and I really like that about my job,” she said. “I’m always like, ‘I need two more hours of work!’”

What makes me want to stay at Datamax?

"If someone were to ask me what it’s like working here, I’d tell them that the people are great, I love my boss, and it’s just a really nice place to work,” Diane said. “What can I say? I’m thrilled to be here. I really do love this place.”
