DATAMAX LITTLE BLUE BOOK STORY - KRISTEN FINKBEINER

Kristen Finkbeiner's Story

(Administration Manager - Little Rock Office) - After graduating from the University of Arkansas in May 2011, Kristen Finkbeiner admits she had no idea what to do next.

She had ambitions of working in the restaurant industry, but that quickly left a bad taste for her. After doing some research, she happened on a magazine article listing "Top 10 Companies" in Arkansas. Datamax's name appeared.

Knowing little to nothing about the industry at the time, she hopped online, visited the Datamax site, saw an opening as an Administrative Assistant, applied, and the rest is history.

From the first impression to her sentiments today, Kristen is a Raving Fan of the organization and a vital player on the team itself.

What led me to Datamax?

"I wanted a stable job that was "9-5," was willing to train new workforce employees, and I had a career path to grow on. This was the only place I could find with all three of those things in the middle of a recession and as a newly graduated college student.

My experiences at Datamax:

Kristen has come a long way - from Administrative Assistant to tenured Administrative Manager. And she doesn't just lead her department by improving their skillsets and achieving department goals. As those on her team have said, she truly cares about her team, wants to see them succeed, and will do anything in her power to help them when they are struggling.

"I always valued the fact that I have been able to grow my skills as a leader here. A LOT of bumps along the way, but I've had the platform to show what I think leadership is and means to a team of people."

What makes me want to stay at Datamax?

What makes Kristen want to stay here, more than anything, is her team and having the opportunity to watch them grow.

"We all have our day in and day out hammering away at a computer job. But those of us who are in leadership roles, to me, it's just as big of a job to grow our people. I find that the most rewarding."
