Letter on the Third — February 2024
Dear Datamax Family,
If you’ve been here for any amount of time, you know this: There’s something special about our delivery method here at Datamax. Our warehouse teams, connectivity specialists, and our drivers deliver that magical first impression to clients through their on-site thoroughness, on-the-spot training, and their on-point enthusiasm. What you may not know is everything that goes on before and after we roll that shiny new device through a customer’s front door for the first time.
I believe that greater awareness breeds greater appreciation. I also believe we can never say “Thank You” enough. That’s why we’re sharing with you this month a few details about the Datamax “Special Delivery” methodology.
They deliver under almost any condition.
The weather in all of our locations in recent weeks (or the main image for this issue) speaks for itself. Rain, sleet, cold, or wet: Barring safety restraints, it doesn’t matter. They’re out on the road... even when no one else is. Additionally, one thing I’ve noticed about our delivery drivers is that they’re ALWAYS smiling. We’re constantly receiving compliments from clients on how friendly they are, how easy the delivery process is, and how well our people cleaned up after they left. There’s no mistake about it: They’re a huge part of Creating Raving Fans on day one.
They deliver real know-how.
Our connect teams aren’t just network experts: They’re experts at getting clients out of a bind. When we talk about what we really sell (our thinking), these guys embody that. Rather it’s on the phone or on-site, these pros are constantly staying ahead of the technology curve to resolve issues promptly, and in a customer-friendly manner at that. However, they also do their part on delivery day, by riding along with drivers to network the equipment and train users on their new device. The impact our connect teams have by familiarizing customers with equipment is enormous. They, too, Create Raving Fans on day one.
They deliver behind the scenes.
Along with our administrative teams, I’d say some of our true unsung heroes at Datamax are our warehouse teams and shop techs. These employees handle everything from shipping/receiving, parts and toner fulfillment, to equipment unboxing and configuration. These teams do all this without being customer-facing. They’re Creating Raving Fans well before day one.
In closing, I encourage you to offer all these folks a simple “Thank You” when the opportunity presents itself. They deliver something special. They deserve our utmost appreciation.
The Best is Yet to Be.
Your Raving Fan,
