Naysayers will never make the leap. Divided? We'll never hold formation amidst the turbulence ahead. If you're ready to jump with the rest of us, check out #5 first: “Present a positive, united position to all internal and external customers.” No division. No naysayers. No giving up. It’s the Datamax Way... the United Way.

As we take the leap into the second quarter of 2023, we’re reminded that our position should be both positive and united with those around us.
At each of our annual meetings recently, I made it a point to stress the importance of our Mutual Commitment documents between managers and employees. These agreements are a real-life example of both parties remaining on the same page - being united - in our efforts as a department and as a company.

President, Datamax Inc.

At Datamax, unity means even more when disaster strikes. We are here for you, Little Rock, and all the surrounding communities affected by Friday's tornado. We stand Rock Solid in both support and in unity. Click the button below to learn ways you can help.

Little Rock Solidity. "As an organization, we stand united in support of all those affected by the tornado in Little Rock and surrounding areas last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. If you need anything, please let us know." - Datamax Inc. President Barry Simon

The distance between Little Rock and Fort Smith, where Lacey Nietert (pictured) works, is 165 miles. Suffice it to say, she COULD exist on an island. But thanks to a culture worth raving about, geography does not create a division for this Admin professional and her team in Arkansas at large.

From morale, to productivity, to marketing our company, you all had some great ideas on why being united in our efforts is a definitive plus. You also shared how we stay that way. Click to read the responses!

Datamax opens its doors to Little Rock and surrounding communities as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary in Arkansas with an Open House Event from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 11.
Paytient is essentially a $1,000 line of credit (interest free) for Datamax employees to use for medical expenses, including dental and vision. The amount is paid back through payroll deduction.

Who remains positive when things get tough? DFW Service Manager Shawn Hay does. We could go and on about how he's the ultimate leader and representative of Datamax Little Blue Book Principle #5... but we asked his team to chime in instead.

JR Johnson
East Texas
JR Johnson's job as a technician covering tons of ground across East Texas is anything but 8 to 5. He rolls like this: "The customer needs to be up. That's all there is to it." Read how he went above and beyond for a Longview client recently.

Molissa Jordan-Spradley
Hot Springs
Molissa's career trajectory in sales at Datamax, like anyone else, has been a process. From learning the business to overcoming steep challenges in a new territory, she carries the humility, know-how and prowess that make her a superstar rep in Hot Springs.

CJ Sherlock
Dallas/Fort Worth
He might be from the Northeast, but CJ feels right at home in Texas. Additionally, he feels right at home taking care of the business technology needs of local car dealerships. For a relatively new role, he's hit the accelerator in Creating Raving Fans.

Little Rock Marathon
Little Rock
Little Rock employees sprinted to the convention center to volunteer for the Little Rock Marathon the Friday before the race last month. They helped prep race bags for the runners' arrival on Saturday. Datamax has sponsored the event since its inception in 2003.

What do you do when combing through resumes leaves you with a headache? When candidates fail to show up for their appointment? When hiring remains an insurmountable challenge for our (and everyone’s really) departments at large? You Never Give Up. A few of our managers discuss hiring in 2023. The best way I know how to be united in our efforts (holding formation even when turbulence hits) is by truly understanding what other people are doing around us... We work best, more united, when we better understand roles beyond our own. — Barry Simon

This campaign aims to obtain "high-probability positive Google Reviews" from YOUR current customers. Adding reviews helps us with Google search rankings, and also builds credibility for both Datamax and yourself. We have prepared some sample email text below that you can copy and send via your normal Outlook client. Google Review URL links are very specific to each Datamax physical location; therefore, we've incorporated them in the body of each of these emails.
