The Ripple Effect.

A single drop causes ripples that spread across an entire waterway. Sharing updates, decisions, and changes in a timely manner creates waves of awareness throughout an organization. Information, like water, should never remain stagnant. #8, Keep Everyone Informed: It ensures our organization stays fresh, fluid, and responsive in our mission. We call it The Ripple Effect.

Dear Datamax Family,

Every morning, after I’ve had my workout and before I leave for work, the same thought crosses my mind: “What do I need to tell Patti before I go?” Even if she’s still sleeping, I naturally do a mental rundown of what might need to be communicated before I drive off. What can I say? it’s a habit.

From Ripples to Roars: Celebrating Skipping Shots and Birthday Magic at This April's Masters Tournament.

At Augusta National’s par-3 16th hole, the usual goal of avoiding water is set aside—at least during practice rounds—when players attempt to skip golf balls across the pond in a beloved Masters tradition. This quirky ritual began in 1972 when Gary Cowan successfully skipped a ball using a 3-iron, encouraged by Ben Crenshaw. Over the years, it’s become a fan-favorite moment, blending fun with skill. A highlight of this tradition came in 2016 when Jon Rahm skipped a shot that not only made it onto the green—but also went in for a hole-in-one, all on his birthday, adding an unforgettable ripple effect to an already magical Masters memory.
