About Jeff
Formally trained as an accountant and a CPA, Jeff has worked in various industries for the past 30+ years, serving as a Cost Analyst, Internal Auditor, Project Management Consultant, among others.
In his 15 years with the Monsanto Company, Jeff helped formulate robust financial and strategic evaluations for the company’s post-patent strategies, served as Director of Roundup Lawn & Garden, and later took the lead in marketing communications within the company’s US agricultural business.
Beginning in June 2015, Jeff served as the Mergers and Acquisitions Consultant for The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, leading financial modeling and analysis and helping lead the integration of the $150M Gavita acquisition into Hawthorne. As the Director of Finance at Datamax, Jeff has responsibility for the Leasing, Accounting, Purchasing and HR functions.
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University Bloomington, and also an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Washington University in St. Louis.
