Little Rock, ARK (Jan. 25, 2024) — Datamax Inc. has been recognized by CEO Juice by earning the Net Promoter Score (NPS®) World Class Service award for the fifth consecutive year. This honor is emblematic of the organization’s commitment to Creating Raving Fans® out of its clients at every turn.

“This recognition is an important one to us because of the weight that NPS® bears in truly measuring how our customers feel about doing business with Datamax,” Datamax Inc. Vice President of Marketing Robert Caldwell said. “Our core mission at Datamax is geared around Creating Raving Fans®, and sharing that number goes a long way in providing an authentic representation to potential clients of just how service-focused we are as a company.”

Datamax utilizes NPS® in all of its 10 locations in Texas and Arkansas. The company has collected more than 12,000 survey responses while maintaining an average score of 93 during that time. It is a number that is consistently collected via post-service surveys and monitored closely to accurately track customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis.

CEO Juice calculates Net Promoter Scores for the copier/imaging channel in North America and “certifies” the numbers as accurate. Satmetrix (creator of NPS®) defines World Class Service as an NPS® score above 70. The average US company has a Net Promoter Score of 10.  Given the NPS® range of -100 to +100, an NPS® score above 0 is considered “Good”, and 50+ is “Excellent.”

Companies calculate their NPS® score using the answer to a key question, using a 0-10 scale: How likely is it that you would recommend [brand] to a friend or colleague? Respondents are grouped as follows:

  • Promoters (score 9-10) are loyal enthusiasts who will keep buying and refer others, fueling growth.
  • Passives (score 7-8) are satisfied but unenthusiastic customers who are vulnerable to competitive offerings.
  • Detractors (score 0-6) are unhappy customers who can damage your brand and impede growth through negative word-of-mouth.

Net Promoter, NPS®, and Net Promoter Score are trademarks of Satmetrix Systems, Inc., Bain & Company, and author/founder Frederick F. Reichheld.
