Print: Yes, People still Use It

The best marketing plans are the ones that consist of both print marketing and electronic/online marketing.

Marketing is one of the most important parts of business because how would people know that your company or your products exist unless you tell them you are out there!

That is why many companies have a department solely for marketing.

These departments help with generating sales and help put your company name front of mind in consumers heads.

It’s a pretty awesome thing actually!

But many marketers have made the mistake of thinking that print is dead and that using print in their marketing plan is useless and unneeded.

But research shows that a big portion of consumers still pay attention to print marketing and even prefer it actually.

There are people who would rather flip through a catalog or brochure rather than scroll down a bright screen and eat up bandwidth to view products.

There are people who are more likely to pay attention to the flyer that came in the mail the other day than the spam email that they scrolled past or immediately deleted upon receipt of the email.

There are people who would prefer to get a business card from you than to put your name in your phone then when they can’t remember what your name is then you are lost in their 400 contacts.

There are so many ways to use print marketing and there are so many people who pay attention to print so why would you kill it. Keep it alive!

The best marketing plans are the ones that consist of both print marketing and electronic/online marketing.

You need to use a blend of both so that you reach a broader audience and so that you can please those who love print and those who love their electronics (which is not everyone like you might think).

Don’t go throwing away your printer because we have news: print is not dead!
